HMIL totally owned subsidy of Hyundai, South Korea has proclaimed to unveil six latest versions in the country within next three years. Hyundai India is country’s 2nd largest vehicle producer and the biggest exporter of vehicles. Hyundai said that they’ll be spending Rupees 200 crore over the next five years on advertising & promotions in Indian market. Hyundai became ICC official cooperator which in itself is big news for the producer. Marketing Director Mr Arvind Saxena, Hyundai Motor India Limited, alleged, ‘Starting from this year 2011, we’re looking at launching 2 new variants each year in the next 3 years. In the next 5 years we will spend approximately Rupees 200crore on campaigns crossways the board, comprising the partnership with ICC.’
Of these six variants, two will be initiated this year itself. The fight among car makers is getting tougher as a result of the day, specially in the Indian subcontinent. It looks like the only method to survive in this aggressive war is by continuously launching superior cars. Hyundai India is official sponsor of this year International Cricket Council ‘World Cup’ starting later on this feb in Indian market. Mr Saxena added, ‘While it’s tough to put a total number as to howmuch sales we would attain during ‘world cup’, the occasion gives us an chance to cut across user segments as cricket is worldwide in India.’ When asked on the position of Hyundai Santa Fe is delivery, Mr Saxena alleged, ‘The Hyundai has closed bookings for vehicle & may revive them through April beginning of March end. We’ve bookings for 600 units & will be delivered as a result of May.’
