We’re all Lexus fans at heart. How could you not be? The brand offers all the luxury, power, performance and heart that any vehicle could give. And, of course, the brand is backed by an industry-leading manufacturer in Toyota, and we all know how Toyota has been shaking things up across the board in terms of innovation. My mom owns a Lexus SUV, so I’ve had a chance to really experience the brand for myself. The drive really lives up to its reputation, and even traveling as a passenger is a delightful experience when you’re surrounded by lush leather and fancy wood grained paneling.

When I went to visit my mother this past December, I hopped off the plane, grabbed my bags and was greeted by the beautiful vehicle herself. Such grace and agility, she looked like she was straight out of painting. When I opened the door, the smell of the leather hit me in a calming wave, and I sunk deep into the seat as we drove down I-90 towards her home in the suburbs. It was a pacifying experience as my mother and I exchanged greetings and news to cruise the highway in such a stealthy vehicle.

When I got back to my apartment a week later, I found myself obsessively researching the Lexus brand and came across a bit of news from a few years ago about an innovative supercar that was meant to hit Palatine Lexus dealerships by 2012. While never officially announced for production, the Lexus GS-F boasted a Formula 1-inspired sub-5.0-liter V-10 that pumps out 500 plus horsepower for the ultimate in powerful rides. Chicago Lexus GS drivers have yet to see this car, but I have my fingers crossed that the brand will put it into production and reaffirm its slated 2012 release date.

Palatine Lexus dealers couldn’t go wrong selling the GS-F, which would leverage a combination of fuel efficiency and extraordinary power to propel itself into the hearts of Chicago Lexus GS drivers across the city. So I implore and beseech Lexus execs, if they’re listening: do yourselves a favor and put this sweet baby on the market. You won’t regret doing so.

It’s about time Toyota gave some more weight to its Lexus brand with a new innovation. Some of Toyota’s work in fuel efficient technology has translated to innovations in Lexus models. Toyota’s work with the Prius has been truly groundbreaking in a day and age when it seems like the rest of the industry’s automakers are simply struggling to keep up. Chicago used Lexus GS dealers are still getting a great client base during the recession – a fact that points to Toyota’s work to stay as ahead of the game as they can.

Over 2010, as automotive sales begin to raise again in the face of huge industry innovations, we’ll hope to begin seeing Toyota and Lexus take back their rightful places as industry leaders. Your Chicago used Lexus GS dealership will again show that it is one of the best places to buy a pre-owned luxury vehicle.
